The calcium contained in Sulfagro Ca fertiliser affects the soil structure, which plays an extremely important role in the development of arable crops - it allows a uniform growth of roots, leads to optimal absorption of fertilisers from the soil and ensures the better use of rainwater.
A well-rooted plant means better yield and more efficient nutrients uptake (especially those with low mobility, such as potassium and phosphorus). An indirect effect of a good soil structure is the lower cost of agricultural work, for example, plowing.
Sulfagro Ca contains calcium in a minimum amount of Ca - 21%, which ensures the proper development of crops at all stages:
- proper growth because it is responsible for the process of cell division, root rhizomes, and above-ground shoots
- regulates the growth rate of the root system
- controls nitrogen metabolism in plants
- as a component of the middle lamella of cells, it is responsible for the proper formation of tissues
- the presence in the middle lamella ensures greater health, inhibiting the pathogenic attacks , mainly fungi
- together with the potassium ion K⁺ participates in the processes of regulating the movement of cellular stomata
- regulates the hormonal status of plants
- stimulates the formation of rhizomes in legumes and fodder crop
Without proper calcium intake we do not have good roots, and without good roots there is no good yield!
